While out grinding tonight, I had a nice streak of solid hits:







Unfortunately, the liches only had 100-200 HP remaining when I hit them with Coup de Grace, so all of the additional damage is a bit superfluous.

When killing the dragon last week, several of us got 500-700 point Coup de Grace hits that actually reduced the dragon's HP by that much.
So, in some cases, those big hits do inflict the complete amount of damage.

 

Was hunting the Dragon with a group tonight.
Check out these insane heals by Tailz Suvorov and Moldi Dook!
Several times they busted one of these heals on me when I had less than 50 hit points - saving me from the brink of death!

 

Really? Nobody has beaten my pathetic 296 point aimed shot?

 

hehehe ugh ill have to go take a SS but off top of my head my crit record on aimed shot was 402? lol

 

How did u get a 400 crit with aimed shot?

Is that a 5 stack on a weak mob?

Running 116 aimed shot 116 in ranged sick bow and 120 dex and even low 300s are very very rare (single stack).

 

101 Aimed shot, 105 Ranged combat. maple/hard leather setup. 100 draw strength, (dex doesnt effect dmg much) ony about 80 strength,
on T6 skeli mage, ive crit for 402. (im sure i had height bonuse for sure )

Definitly was a 4 or 5 stack.
And although my dmg is a little dif with the latest changes, i get over 300's pretty regularily.

I havnt payed much attention this week, but im sure i can get SS of 350+ aimed shot on a T6 skeli ? (elite)

 

Can we get a penis please that gets larger everytime i do a higher coup de grace? It would be a really simply UI update

 

Not seeing obsidian arrows being posted, thats a good sign. banish and coup are pretty situational so not worried bout those.

This is what happens when someone knows how to archer. Just a regular ol bow attack hitting an unarmored target like a truck.

Most archers are still using auto-attack, so are unable to achieve this 0-focus cost damage

I switched back to auto-attack so I could concentrate on moving, combining glyphs and healing. Ultimately, the damage over time is only a bit higher for free-attack and that's only if you're on top of it.

[edit] BTW, you can't use any specials while charging your attack, so I'm not too sure there's any ultimate benefit to free-attack.

 

Pros: 0 focus cost, particularly powerful with the bow (comaprable to aimed shot) and can be fire simultaneously with aimed shot or any other skill, Bypasses armor resistance a ton better than rapid fire, is a twitch mechanic that can indeed ultimately improve your overall DPS with practice. Uses way way fewer arrows and causes a ton less bow damage than auto attack (and rapid fire).

Cons: requires decent timing and more real focus to get the hang of.

The way damage resistance works on armor, even if your hitting more often, if the damage from each hit is smaller, its gonna be mitigated alot more than big single shot hits.

you cant use auto attack while using skills either. (yoiur auto attacks stop while skills are beign used)

I don't know if this counts, but here is my highest buffed strength

 

I cant even fathom how 448 str is even possible in the game. I can barely get into the upper 100's and I have almost GM's in all the str buffs lol.

This was achieved with about 400 strength

 

My resting strength is over 120 with no buffs in that build.

I can probably get it around 10 strength higher, as in that picture I was not using a bear hat or my strength gloves. Mainly it is about 5 stacking buffs in the right place.

That's insane, are you actually getting use from Torpor? Ive taken it up to 70 now and have found it worthless. I tried it once in PvP for the heck of it and the guy I fought just hammered me while I sat there (and I had all the other resist/avoidance shields on as well as def stance)

 

Mine is at level 97, that was a 5 stack with as much earth attune as I could get.
