After the New Lady/Lord of the Isle Bundle was announced with the NEW possibility to place a lot deed TAX FREE in any POT - AND - taxable in any NPC Town, why can't we have this combination for other deeds, too?

It would be fine, if we could upgrade every POT lot deed to a TF POT+Taxable PA deed,
so we could decide to place it -tax free- in a POT or -taxed- in a NPC Town.

So we would have these possibilites:

    I TAXED DEEDS
1 PA: not upgradable, so the promise to early backers about tax free PA deeds remains guaranteed!

    2 POT
    = upgradable to
    2a Taxed PA
    2b Taxfree POT

    II TAXFREE DEEDS
1 PA (The promise to early backers about tax free PA deeds remains guaranteed!)

    2 POT
    upgradable to
    TF POT + Taxed PA

So NEW BUNDLES for Episode 2 besides the new Lady/Lord of the Isle could be provided, also containing the new kind of deed combo: TF POT & Taxable PA deeds :)

Shop info about the new Lady/Lord of the Isle bundle:

$$$$$, ad this would also mean that there is a possibility even as remote as it is, that if all the sudden everyone abandoned POTs they would not be able to cover their statement that there is Land avail for everyone who one a LOT deed space in an NPC area. :)

I know not very probable but something that needs to be addresses before they make a move like this.

There should be no issues with allowing this.

Suspect things may change as more lands and thus more towns are added. I expect a laissez-faire approach to the deeds. So stay tooned.

If we had a "bank run" land rush like that, I think that wouldn't be a bad problem to have, because it would mean we had enough players for that to be a problem. At least tele-zone scrolls should help make out-of-the-way npc towns less undesirable.

Hope we will be able to upgrade taxable POT deeds to PA deeds.

It seems like a good idea on the surface. But tax-free deeds have always been bundled items, a reward for buying a package of some sort. And taxed POT deeds were also sold for less than tax-free deeds. So it seems rather complicated to just flip a switch on this. The team would have to come with something that seems like a fair transition.

Yes, that should be guaranteed - a fair upgrade price.

So there was talk n the last livestream about converting taxed to tax free. It will not be in the first wave of upgrades they had planned due to sheer number of possibilities. They are initially going to focus on size upgrades. See livestream Jan 18, 2019 for details. Price for conversion I think is based on 2 years worth of rent. I think that was what they considered for one of the conversions.

Yes, it was about upgrade from taxed to tax free - but this only can be possible for POT, because of the promise for backers about TF PA deeds, I suppose.

What I was talking about above, was also an upgrade from POT taxable to PA taxable AND the ability for lot deeds like the new Lady/Lord of the Isle Bundles deeds to grant tax free if placed in POT and taxable if placed in NPC towns (PA).

I think it may be the case where time will tell. As more lands and NPC towns are added then that will create more of a disparity between PoTs and NPC towns.
