Bear Hat
Stag Hat
Wolf Hat

All the exact same materials (aside from the different heads), all have +3 to a stat. Stag Hat has a value of 25, while the Wolf and Bear Hat have a value of 60.

Shouldn't they be the same?

maybe it assume stags are easier to kill than wolves and bears...

 

But the cost of the raw materials are the same, and that should be mostly what determines price.

Low level bears and wolves are also easy to kill and I believe they can drop heads (just assuming).

 

The lower the level of bears & wolves to you, the lesser the chance that they will drop heads. It's even worse for carcasses. Sometimes, all you get are hides.

 

Stag Head value = 10
Bear Head value = 10

Stag Hat value = 25
Bear Hat value = 60

Still makes sense?

 

Just because bearheads are undervalued by NPCs ... means nothing much to me.
