    field dressing level does not control chance of a rare like a head, only chance of success in general.

    There is a secret emote you must perform before carving up the corpse. And it has to be done on Tuesday’s when it is sunny in scenes that start with the letter x.

    As far as getting Pristine Heads, you just have to keep skinning. They drop when they drop. Other than that, I'm sure there are other players who will sell them to you.

    They were in The Fall, but last time I was there I didn't see them anymore. Not sure if they were moved somewhere else or not.

    I figured as much. I don't PvP, so I had a hunch they were either in the Fall, Blood Bay, or a shardfall.

    I know! I even killed a few. But it's too tough to solo reliably (the area they're in, I should say- I can deal with a single or even two, but if the nearby boars start respawning on me, it gets to be too much to handle myself) so I doubt I'll be farming them any time soon. I did manage to get a pristine large head off of one, though.
