Problems Newbies Run Into

There's three different ways to get the key.

And what is it with all the newbies supporting the black market? I didn't mention this in my OP, but it's another thing I've seen ALL the Twitch newbies do. They always give the heirlooms to the fence. Does no one but me ever talk to the guards? Think of all the poor civilians missing their family heirlooms, doesn't ANYONE want to stay on the side of law and order?? :-D

 

I watched a video in which a player got the key from what looked like a small memorial to the girl. But first when I went to talk to the fence, I had to fight him this time. Then when I killed him, I looted the key from him, so at last that quest is done.

 

Actually he isn’t hostile to you (unless you attack them). He is a neutral NPC. But if you have your weapon ready they will show that you can target them..... just FYI. There’s a few more neutral NPC’s in other areas, so just be mindful about that....
