Problems with / Loosing items at Tanning Station

You have to be horrible careful with crafting:
1) I tried to make "hardened leather", crafted and then dragging stuff to inventory it got lost.
2) Tried again, having different numbers of items on station, but "craft" button was disabled. On moving items back to inventory everything got lost.
3) Tried to make "Supple Leather" with correct items, 1 item each in recipe, craft button was not enabled.

All hides are now lost plus some bought stuff. Have to go back to the woods and kill wolves again

Edit: I relogged several times due to crashes / freezes and just now realized that lost stuff re-appeared in my inventory, but not sure if everything is back.

 

That happened to me with carpentry. Lost some boards and a tool. I logged off and on again, and the items reappeared in my inventory.
