So, i first want to write remove all public vendors except one , but please could it be the Central Brittany one. Another, imo maybe not that popular request would be to have them connected as one big public vendor network or auction house available in every npc city. To keep players traveling you can get into detail and make the listing global, but the get on items local. So i can buy 100 silver ore at the PV in Estgard from a global listing , but if the silver was listed and is located in Etceter i still need to travel to Etceter to get my silver. I know, this is maybe unpopular, but due to playerbase and almost every PV except owls is empty and unused i just want to reconsider. If only one public vendor is used by the community, then it should be placed central. If ypu want all cities to have a PV maybe connect them all to a big auctionplace. Just a suggestion
i think a single vendor would have too many listings on it. there's already a limit that occassionally gets hit in owl's head and if they removed the limit it'd take forever to load. global is a step too far for me, but regional would be great. i'd like to see the listings for soltown and solania and celestis and all the prt public vendors for the perennial coast on the ardoris vendor. might actually help build the regional economies they wanted. of course, desolis and maybe blumdel would be the only things in grunvald...
I don't like the idea simply because it would further isolate some towns to the point where there would be no reason to visit them at all. With localised public vendors at least you might have a reason to go visit those towns.
Eh really you go around visiting other towns to search the pv? How often you visited Mud, Goti, Spite or Bramble for example to do this? Who has found something on a pv except the one in Owls? They are empty! They arent used! Nearly nobody visits all NPC Cities to check local offerings at the pv. And why does it isolate them further? Imo it would encourage people to go there because local Citizens then list their stuff, what can be seen global on all public vendors, but goods need to be picked up local where they are listed.
In all honesty... what does it hurt to leave them in place, even if they aren't being used right now? Players will be able to tell very quickly which ones aren't being visited at all right now, and list their goods elsewhere. Conversely, it is one less thing that needs to be added to a town when players start living there. Not quite sure why you would even ask for this?
