purify won't do the trick

while on zombie plague quest in Solace Bridge purify never does the trick. Tried it again and again and pushed it up to lv10 this way. That's pretty few success, even with just 50% effectiveness. Potion works immediately. Design or delay?

 

Seems to work most of the time for me but I am just using it in a normal level 2 instance not a zombie plague quest.

 

IT wasn't working well for me in R28, been working fine in R29.

 

I've had it work pretty regularly, but had a pet with me that also had the plague and kept giving it back to me... very frustrating cycle as targeting of pets for heals isn't very good. Were you stuck in this viciously annoying cycle of reinfection or was it just not curing period?

 

I have had this happen as well and in this case using purify is a temporary fix -- usually end up dismissing and respawning pet to cure it.

 

Yeah I tried using purify on myself to get rid of the Zombie plague but it didn't seem to do anything.
