Put things on the ground ingame

    Is there a reason this was not implemented? I think it would be awesome if players could put things on the ground as in UO... Items on the ground would decay automatically of course after XY minutes.

    But in general it would add much more immersion to the game imo.

    Its on schedule to be implemented or was anyway. It keeps getting pushed back to focus on other things.

    That is going to be in the game. It just isn't implemented yet!

    I really hope they put this in to the game. I'm guessing that at the moment that allowing players to drop items on the ground might drastically increase the load on the servers, creating lag for some players (imagine if someone dropped 100 pieces of armour in one area). It's something that they can't control (unlike something like multiple light sources) and have to test thoroughly before implementing. On a side note, anyone remember when some naughty person linked up hundreds of communication crystals in the early days of UO and crashed the server?
