    I thank you all for eloquently stating my feelings on this issue! I am so grateful to not be the only one.

    Every PvP experience I have ever had (save only factions and guild v guild) has been like a pro boxer beating a third grader. I don't like being the third grader and I am embarrassed if I am the boxer. I ... and I cannot emphasis this enough ... HATE PvP and in this game I HATE it even more than most.

    Its funny that you say that and its so true. All of the PvP focused games I have played (like DAOC, GW2, etc...) are all zerg games exactly as you say. The biggest zerg wins. The best PvP game I ever played was UO... which was random one on one encounters mostly. SOTA can be like this.

    I dont know, but that isnt what i was talking about anyway. i simply meant i am in no hurry to be a super high level where the death penalty will be a burden. I am enjoying taking the scenic route.

    Yes I will flag PvP. I doesn't make a difference to me. I have been playing PvP scenes for like a month now. I have yet to see a single person. I spend a lot of time just fishing them as well. Never seen anyone. I would not be worried for a second to go afk in one.

    That being said, I love PvP. I have friends that really want to PvP. But it needs purpose; i.e. factions, guild wars, or hunting down the Oracle's naughty list, etc...

    Mixed feelings about the feature.

    It could also feel like non-PVPers have to live with a 25 percent penalty compared to PVP friends.

    Good for PVP though I guess.

    The main problem with PvP is how imbalanced it is. There are some that put everything else to the side and max out their character to gain a disproportionate advantage over other people. The people that need the 25% have lower skill levels and will be inevitability be gank food. No easy answers. Great they are trying.

    You know, I was just thinking that same thing.. Its been about 9 months since I left. I may pop in powerlevel a headhunter up just to see some of the old crew again..
