Thanks to someone mentioning that it takes ~167Gxp to reach skill 200, I did the math. A limit of 1M/hour means it will take 167000 hours or 19 years to reach skill 200 on one skill at a rate of 1M/hour 24 hours a day. Double the cap and it's only 9 1/2 years!
Anyone else get a real boost from this news? I think I will be visiting the SotA web store and picking out many more things to ask Santa for!

As I mentioned directly above your post: We are not planning on talking about Ep 2 until we finish all the Ep 1 content.
All pledges expired, including the ability to upgrade. There may be new pledges for Ep 2 but again nothing is planned yet. We are 100% focused on Ep 1.
This has always been a flaw in the economy that needed balancing. The value of ore should strictly be determined by it's value to be refined and make products. All of our activity pre-launch is subject to balancing, and balancing from from 'harder-to-easier' is better for the health of the game and the influx of new players. This is coming from someone whose GM's are largely crafting skills.
But I bet you'll be safe. I doubt they'll implement it for crafting. Even though it makes absolutely no sense that copper rocks cost more than copper swords.
Hopefully offline balance will become a top 10 someday. Nonetheless, I have to say that this is the best developer post I have seen in a long time. My belief will remain inhibited until I see the video of RG signing all of the cloth maps.
And I got moderated for saying the exact thing in one of my own posts to the same person. But who cares now, ready for launch! .... in 3 months.... but still Ready!
Thank you to the Devs for being with us through this all. It has taken a while to reach the mark, and it is quite the Herculean task to keep this so many people engaged and entertained to reach the Launch goal.
We all do our part to make the world a living, breathing wonder, and while there has been a bit of holding of breath all along the way, it’s good to finally see that Portalarium is saying “ship it!”

Think of it as a milestone where they are now going to actively market the game and them saying Episode 1 is here. Enjoy and let's put Episode 2 in our sights.
Just semantics. Launch is launch, people. Can we just keep the good vibes going?
You could use the term 'commercial release', but we don't like using markety words like that, so it's simply our target date for the launch of the game.

Does this mean each character will have individual banks and a common bank that all can access or that banks space will be shared?
