1. We have a dedicated Player Test Environment on our QA server available for player use. This server will be kept open with periodic database resets, when we will copy the database from the live server. The server database will be updated at least twice a month during a scheduled maintenance window.

Though players are welcome to use the QA server to experiment or test anything they wish, we will post patch notes and testing directives in this area. Players testing new content, features and systems will greatly help in reducing post release bugs and making the game better.

To assist players in helping us make the game better, the Test Server will award login bonuses in CotOs and Gold coins to allow players to purchase resources or anything they may need to test from the Crown Store and/or from the in game vendors. In Addition, the Developers will announce dates/times when Dev Assisted Player Test Events will occur on the QA Server.

Please use the Test Environment Bug and Feedback forums for QA Server activities only.

You can help test by downloading a new SotA Launcher(QA) installer to download a separate QA copy of the game. It exists independently from the regular live version of the game and installs to a separate folder. To use the Player Test Environment, please download the QA Server client here:

As part of the ongoing effort to update and improve the game's User Interface (UI), we have made some adjustments to the inventory window and are looking for players to assist in testing the changes.

The tabs on the inventory window have been replaced with a pulldown menu that provides for a wide range of category filters along with a new "Recently Added" option.

After a dungeon crawl or harvesting run, the new options will make it easier to sell all the unneeded "junk" items at a merchant. Select the Recently Added option to limit the list to new items in inventory, then sell/trade the offending items. Once complete, you can then click reset and go out for another run with out risk of selling any of the items you want to keep from the last adventure.

Displayed in the screenshot below the recently added option will show items you have looted/obtained during the current play session. (this list is reset by either logging out or using the reset button to the right of the pull down menu.

This change is currently live on the QA server. Please login to QA and give it a try, and let us know what you think!

For testing: we want to make sure that the categories are showing the intended items, filters work properly, and that the new Recently Added option shows items looted, harvested, skinned, as well as items obtained from merchants and vendors.

    * The reset button should appear only when the Recently Added option is selected.
    * All UI windows that display inventory should now have this feature.

Please file bugs in the QA UI section

Please leave feedback and suggestions here: Feedback

Worth mentionning that Recently Added will be changed in next patch with Recently Looted which better match the description of what it is. The reset button will also change place as i made the filter box larger and will be at bottom of the inventory in middle and will be named Reset Recently Looted.

There a few more thing that will change too, bank, npc merchant, public vendor, player vendor, sub container, plot container and crafting ui will also get this same replacement for the tabs.
Some options should only show up in main backpack and merchant: Locked & Quest and Recently Looted (for ease to sell to merchant directly in same window).

Tons of bug fix coming too for different thing (there was a bug while looting i think) etc. So wait before posting bugs! :)
