Questions about Blades

I put together a Dagger last night...

Copper Blade, Copper Hilt. I don't have all the stats memorized, but... I ended up with a 2.1 Dex bonus, a 2.5 Str bonus and a nice bonus to crit chance. This dagger has a 20% chance to crit as a result.

I did a small amount of testing with it. I was tearing through some mobs with a considerable number of Crits going down. As soon as I used poison? Watch out! They went down CRAZY fast.

I MIGHT even consider dropping the shield and seeing how two of these daggers could do for me, aside from the problem of not being able to deflect arrows... it might work out fairly well against melee mobs. (But, I could always put together two near identical decks, one with shield in hand and shield glyphs, the other with double daggers and some other glyphs in place of the shield glyphs.)
