Title:R-key does not respond in deco mode
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No
Details: to put objects upright does not work (R key)
    Steps to Reproduce:Always
    User Specs:Windows 10 - 64 bits - Intel i7 2800ghz - nvidia 1060

I don't know if this is a bug but it seemed the appropriate place to mention it.
Perhaps someone has experienced this too.

The r key to rotate is the same in the keybinding list as the r key to combine glyphs. Have you remapped the combine function?

The only keys I remapped were the "Z" and "W" keys because I use an azerty keyboard. Never touched the "R" key and I even don't see it in the controls list.
I don't know about combining glyphs.
Perhaps someone can tell how to undo it IF I remapped the combine function unknowingly.
    Thank you.

unlikely you mapped it unknowingly. what is it you're trying to rotate?

The objects that can be put upright like books, backpack, instruments and so on. Everything that normaly can be set vertically.
The "R" key control simply does not work...

By the way the "E" and "Q" keys for the horizontal rotation work perfect.

Meanwhile I update the drivers for my graphics card but it did not solve the problem.

hmm. in settings > controls, the actual key binding is named "start glyph combo". it's more than halfway down the list, after the block of "toggle party member x" bindings that go to the function keys.

it's a bit of a kludge to have it also be the rotate deco key; it causes conflict sometimes. getting rotate deco its own binding is something in the backlog as bug 24294.

nonetheless, if "start glyph combo" is mapped to R on your machine, my next question would be if other people using azerty keyboards have the same problem. maybe @tphilipp would know?

You were right ! The "start glyph combo" got somehow set to "none" and I set it to "R" which solved the problem :)
Before your explanation I would never have thought to change that control.
    Thank you for your help!
    Problem solved!!!
