R23 Feedback - Magery - Root is way Over Powered

LOL, root is OP for PvP but it sucks for PvE. When you root a mob, it instantly goes into non-combat health regeneration, which makes root just about useless.

 

Thanks for this, I was wondering whether I should have taken the Earth tree just for Root. Looks like Lightning was the right way to go (for PvE).

 

Honestly, I think you just need to not start with a root attack. Once the mob starts attacking it is less likely to go into regen mode(though it still can).

 

I'm reading over these R24 notes for tomorrow... did magic get nerfed even more? Am I missing something

 

Attunement seems to have been buffed a lot, crits for magic and nonmagic both got buffed(magic notably more so), however root is now easier to jump out of and gets even easier based on victim strength. Oh and mage mobs now actually will drop reagents.

 

...and chickens will drop feathers.

Unless they drop massive stacks I doubt this will change much - when i build a chunk of arrows i go through 1000 of them.

But it is another excuse to kill'em chickens ain't it? Muhatihi.

 

Now that is logic I can't argue with...

 

So far its between 2 and 4 feathers per chicken.... Just saying...
