R27 patch keeps downloading on Steam each time I launch Steam

    1. Title:R27 patch redownloads each time I launch Steam
    2. Reproduction Rate:100%
    3. Blocker?: NO
    4. Details:Since R27, Steam client redownloads the R27 patch each time I launch Steam. It is really annoying since the size of the patch is quite big for slow connections. I tried to "check the integrity of the game cache" twice but it did not solved the problem. More details on this thread

    Can you confirm that it is actually trying to download the same patch over and over again as opposed to downloading and installing the latest patch? We have been producing new patches for R27 about once-a-day to fix issues, which may be what you're observing.

    Well I reboot steam and had another download.

    Went from build 1005094 (389) to 1007083 (390)

    Rebooted once again and that time did not download another client...

    Looks like you are right !
