As an aside : As of last night, in a survey of 200 POTs there were 407 claims. Probably more now obviously.

Arx Draconis was the largest single POT community with 41 claims. :)

Awesome! It's good to see POTs getting populated and I suspect many more to come.

Well so far, I've been trying for more than 2 hours (before Group 91 came in) to claim various row lots in Brittany Alleys. It's a laggy mess, and I can't get any clicks on the empty lots' signs to register... :-/

Had better luck using single player online, for some reason...

I'm surprised that there are still free lots in Brit Alleys tbh.
This is nice, the place got a dense population but there is chance until nearly the last moment. Also it means that players got spread in the map, not everybody wants Brittany. There have been even lots in Brit Central until recently.
There are posts about cities being populated all around the map.

All this points to population being happy with their locations so far, and that is quite an achievement imo.

Yeah not the rush I was expecting in the Alleys. There are still 5... I figured it wasn't even worth running there but I thought I would take a shot. Got a nice location too? a three story kinda near the town crier.

I think this is down to level of interest being a factor of level of money invested. At the higher tiers where people have invested a large amount of money they definitely make sure they were around for the land rush, as you drop down the tiers this is less the case. I think partly this is because consciously it is less money but also because the amount of someone's investment/pledge is a factor of their level of interest. I know this is an over-simplification because people have different levels of disposable income but I think it generally is true. We have steadily seen the percentage of people who could claim versus those that did fall as we have gone through the landrush.

I grabbed a row lot in Brittany Alleys with my alt account before I left for work this morning, it's on the main road down from Brittany Central so I'm very pleased with it - probably a better spot than my main account's row lot in Ardoris (no vendor sales there yet, but I'm playing a long game ).

I also used my main account POT village deed to claim a nice harbour view in Diamond Fields.

Thanks to all the people who've been keeping this spreadsheet up to date over the last few weeks, it's been a great resource. Saved me a lot of time as far as not bothering with certain locations that were already full and encouraged me to check out a few places I wasn't even aware of before (even though I've ended up in three out of my original top five 'target' towns). I don't know if it's possible to even keep track of the people who did all the work, but if it is they all deserve some sort of in-game award (I'll chip in!).

Now all that's left is a lot of decorating :)

Edit: Now that we've filled up Brittany Alleys, shall we try to organise some sort of party? I'm thinking something like Open House Brittany Alleys (like London or New York) - guided tours of the town and the bigger/more impressively decorated properties, some sort of dance party, everyone pimps their vendors, we come together as a community etc.

If it calms you: Vendore sales in Brit Fields are below average as well.
Bit of stuff here and there but not as expected.

I tried to get a spot in Brittany Alleys this morning but got disconnected 6 times due to network congestion. I guess 12meg DSL isn't fast enough for that town anymore. :(

    Are you in multiplayer online?
If so, switch to single player online.

    Davesedg,

Try using the "E" key to do the double clicking. Just hit it once.

I have updated the numbers in Harvest... still lots of lots there including a castle and a keep, and water versions of a keep and a castle.
