R41 Summons HP

    As stated in R41 notes,

    "instead of your fire elemental being level 10 as in previous releases, it will be 10+(80+(80/2))/4 = 10 + (30) = level 40 fire elemental and have about 3-4X hps and a better hit chance"

    I was very happy to see this as my Adventuring lv. is 108 and my Summon Creature 110, SO .. my Elemental should have had !
    10 +(108+ (110/2))/4 = 10 +(40.75) = lv. 50.75

    so, since the previous Elemental HP default was 275, one must multiply it by 5.075. AND the new hp SHOULD be 1,396.

    GUESS WHAT folks, I logged in casted Summon and Ele's HP are 275


    Is this a known screw up OR am I missing something..??

    So, there is an issue but also issue with your math. Hit points are not proportional to level. It going from 10 to 50 does not mean it has 5x the hit points. Just like a level 100 player doesn't have 10x the hit points of a level 10 player. Sorry if that was implied in my statement.

    The good news is there was a missed parenthesis in the at least the fire elemental bonuses. I'll go check the others and fix them if they are off. With that fixed it is at 446 hit points at 100/100. Checking this in now.

    BUT,

    450ISH, HP is a feeble side kick for raising you lv. and skill to 100 +. I'm assuming it will only hit for around 10.

    Please understand THIS IS USELESS when trying to use at higher areas. They should hit for 40 -60 at least and pack around 1000 - 1500hp at that lv. of commitment. Otherwise these changes are for the most part, a waste of your time.

    Here is an idea, give the summons & Taimables a few equipment slots. You know, Necklace, Rings, Armor and maybe even Weapon... now you would be making a fantastic change that all the crazies (Like me) would frickin Love.
    Not to mention the Rock Star status this would propel you to, I mean even Richard would get nervous here..

    Also, does Attunement effect anything in this situation..

    I made a bug report and post about summons not scaling.
    lvl 23 skill fire elemental and lvl 99 skill air elemental of a adv lvl 94 character do the same damage and have same hp

    damage is the same as it was pre r41
    7-10 damage an attack in all cases

    Summons should at least have health equal or greater than N% of the summoner.
    Where N=50 perhaps?
