R43 Land Rush status

    So it's been 6 months since the last housing census, way back in R37, so I did another update to see what it looks like as of R43. I did a full pass of all NPC towns and PRTs. I did not survey any POTs.

    When I started this afternoon, there were 2809 claims. After this update, there were 2683 claims.
    - NPC town claims dropped from 2422 to 2325
    - PRT town claims dropped from 387 to 358

    In total, there are still 6208 available property lots in NPC towns and PRTs. So if you're looking for an open spot, take a look at the spreadsheet to see what's available and where.

    Nifty spreadsheet. My guess is that they're down after the ability to farm gold has been axed (or halberd'd depending =P) with the last few releases and taxes truly became overwhelming.

    There's also a certain number of tax-free lots that are getting booted for inactivity.

    Anyhow, I at least try to re-census every now and then the towns I have lots in for SotAmap.

    release 35 was when it started being based on pledge level, but it's been there since persistence as a default time.

    It could also be that POTs were a scary place to live up until there were no horror stories of abusive governors and some people moved.

    Hey @smack great info thanks.
    I do have one suggestion for the next census, how about logging the devotionals in each town?
    That would be invaluable info for people hunting a specific cabalist.

    I can't say I mind the expiring lots. I never would have though I'd get a semi-decent row lot slot in Adoris, but I did!

    I don't think there's as much appreciation for something you buy your way into, rather than earning it.
