    Gems are regionalized. Except for some strange reason (unless there is actually no reason) it is faster, easier, and overall more rewarding to get gems from trolls. Especially since gem nodes give 100xp. @DarkStarr :confused:

    There are also some potentially interesting lore connections between where the NPC town devotionals and the master magic trainers are, and where the highest concentration of the gem
    type that matches. But AFAIK, there is nothing in-game to clue an avatar into this, nor is it clear that there is any real benefit to having the knowledge.

    For example- Master Earth Trainer is in Jaanaford, but the highest concentration of emeralds is in Graff Gem Mines.
