There seems to be some confusion coming from new players regarding the R52 Raffle Deed tickets.

The descriptions of the items on the merchant say: "R52 POT Deed Raffle Ticket". New players apparently are thinking that this means they are buying a chance to win a POT... and not getting that it is for a Lot Deed.

Perhaps the tooltip should give a bit more description to explain this is a chance to win a Lot Deed that can only be used in a Player Owned Town (POT)?

This might alleviate some of the confusion.

While we are at it, the place anywhere deeds should also explain that it is a chance to win a Lot Deed that can be placed anywhere (POT or NPC Town).

I agree Daxxe about these Raffle Ticket descriptions and also some new players I've met just don't know they exist as an opportunity. They are so busy learning everything and plus they don't always have the gold at first to purchase them if they did know. I was offering contributions even though I don't have lot of gold I am happy to help. One person was just a few hundred short so I gave him 1000 gold for his cause ;) Anyway I do agree the description is misleading. @DarkStarr

I also agree with Daxxe, and would like to add that the word (taxable or non-taxable) should be added as well. Where we don't want the description to be a book, it would be nice to have a full description.

Are any of these raffles a chance at a tax free lot?

No. Raffle ticket Lot Deeds are all taxable. The only way to get a non-taxed one is to buy it from another player or buy a high level bundle from the SotA Store -> Bundles section. Also, its best to buy them during the Monthly Release Livestreams as you can then get up to a 20% discount on them. The next Release Livestream is on April 6th, and I think the direct link to its details is https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?p=84805.
