Winners should be able to claim their lot deeds at the bank. We're not announcing who's won anymore though.
How do we know we one, go try and claim and if it does not show up then... we lost??? seems the winners should at least get some kind of in game notification maybe some mail or something
Yea, I think it would make sense if either all participants, or just the winners, got a notice in game via the mail system.
Guys if you want to know get to your account page on forum at special rewards. It will be writing if you have won a deed. Or just claim in bank and cross your fingers
Go to your Account Page by clicking "Account" in the upper right hand corner of the home page of the web site after logging in, and then click on the Special Rewards tab... If you won a deed, it will be listed at the bottom like this: Of course, the exact text will vary with the type of deed you won. If you don't see a similar entry, you didn't win.
Not at all about that... If you pay attention to the threads where the winners were announced, people started getting aggressive at the fact that some people won more often than others, which led to Port stop giving out the names and simply having you view it on your account page. Simply a way to avoid "Tomato Tossing" (quoted from some of these threads.)
It would be nice to have a notice to check. "Raffle winners for release ## have been chosen." I've been wondering if I had lost or if it had even taken place yet.
Things have changed now with less devs to do some things for us. I think it's ok to let it be known to the masses for now that no longer will raffle winners be announced and claiming rewards will let you know if you won. Until we get improved in game UI that does a better job of advising of things at least. Just imo and true making a game on a budget kinda sucks sometimes.
Every time they posted the list of winners, there would inevitably be those who pitch a fit for whatever reason.
The fuss over the names was always kind of silly. If something funny was going on with the raffle, someone could have used multiple accounts with multiple names to hide the fact that they won more than once. So the fact that the same names came up was more of a sign that nobody was trying to hide anything.
Oh come on, it's not like it actually matters who won or who didnt, It's not like any lotto does that IRL ever. But i agree that some kind of notification, even an automatic mail when the reward get placed on your account.
@Serafina You could still announce when the raffle is done and deeds have been distributed? Chaox did that last release but this time people were obviously quite confused if the raffle was even done yet.
