Reading the EULA

When I launched SotA R2 there was a EULA and Terms I needed to agree to before I was able to continue. This was probably the case for R1 as well, but I paid no mind to it and checked the box as most do. I’m no expert in legal speak, but here are my thoughts.

• The game launcher’s EULA screen could use arrows on the scroll bar to make reading easier.
• Links within the agreements are not highlightable or clickable.
• There might be a few typos in the EULA:

1. II. Portalarium Ownership, 2nd paragraph: “You may not to sell..”​
2. General Terms, A.: “this EULA are not intended”​
3. VI.A, 2nd paragraph: “.” should be a “,”​
4. VI.,VI.A. and VII. have a code error showing the ampersand code & I was unable to test this in a different browser.​
5. VIII. Termination: “Sections IV; V.A, B, D, and E ; VII., VIII and X.” This was a bit confusing because A, B, D and E were listed under section VII​
6. Lastly the EULA Numbering Format was consistent until the end, A., B., C., at the end it changed to G).​

I was not able to see the EULA and Terms again within the launcher. As a result the information above came from notes I scribbled and may not be accurate. I could not find the EULA on the SotA or Portalarium Websites. The Website Commercial Terms and Terms of Service looked different from what was provided within the launcher.

Now that's some hardcore dedicated testing there. Not many would have bothered to test things like that, yet they are still needed.
