Just a recommendation from a User Side for your next Kickstarter Campaign and regarding shipping.

The Bards Tale Developers used crowdox.

All i can say that from my side as a Backer of the Bards Tale that it was very convenient, easy to follow, easy to use and control experience. So i think it may be also from your side.
They will take a heavy load away about organizing stuff.
You need to compare your staff cost time vs the service of course.
Not sure if it makes sense now. But looks like they may take alot of Return Shipping Cost risks away.
But keep them in mind as a possible option for your next 4 Kickstarters Epidodes.

They are not doing a Kickstarter for Episode 2.

 

I thought they were. I read it somewhere. Perhaps that has changed?

 

Yes, they've been talking about episode 2 as new lands and added functionality. It seems that it will be different from outlined earlier. Those buying the game from now on will have to buy the new episode to get to the new place... That is at least until they change it again.

 

I'm excited to see what part of Britannia will pop up next! My crafting character (Nikko) gets it all because of the original pledge, but my alts will need to pay up to go there. I'll happily do so, though.

 

A new kickstarter campaign would draw more outrage and more entitlement from the complainer class, so I'm not surprised they don't wanna do it again.

I can see it now "Haven't even finished the first game, and now they're begging for MOAR money !!!"

 

So if you aren’t a Kickstarter donor, and have the basic game, be sure check the store, and purchase Chapter 2. I believe purchasing that early, will also allow you early access to Chapter 2, so you can help provide feedback on its development.
