I understand that some of you may have invested time and money into this idea, and so by all means continue the discussion.

However, please just keep mindful of how your speculation on individuals and events, could possibly stray over the forum rules. I've cleaned up a few posts on that basis.

    Regards,

I hope so, sounds like a fantastic idea, just maybe needs a decent bit of leadership and not someone prone to tantrums. Not sure why it has to be a metropolis though you could easily have had either a metropolis with a smaller town/city underneath or vice versa if its a cost thing. My understanding is there are more than likely enough people who would help fund this project if it has the right leadership.

    Im confused.

There where updates posted on this thread as to the status of Slum recently. Then that is followed by posts saying its to bad, and maybe someone else will pick up this idea. I do not see anything in between indicating this is dead.

Are there moderated posts deleted that prevent understanding of what has happened? Is the information in another thread?

Is this project dead or still underway?

1 - If its dead I want to blow the links off my website.

2 - More importantly, while Im not planning on placing in player towns - this project was intriguing and I was keeping an eye on it to see how it unfolds :)

Thanks for any update as to the status.

YEP. This thread got moderated. I don't want to participate in this thread anymore after the moderations. I don't want to get into details out of fear of being moderated. I honestly don't understand what the boundaries really are on this site. All I think I can safely say is that this thread was in fact moderated.

    Thank you.

Is Slum a dead project then or is it still active? No details necessary :)

Try going to KillingJoke's profile page. Go back a page and click on his name. That's all I'm going to say.

Whatever happen to this promising "anti-clown" establishment? There's really no telling...

But for all those interested in a large Open PVP player owned town focused on player freedom and trade, there is a new opportunity on the horizon called the City of Penshire.

...and unlike the town of SLUM, it's paid for and has plan.

Funny you bring this up, I checked out his profile and the website the other day and all gone. I hope no-one gave him any money.

Yeah I was there when the guy cracked. The guy choked under pressure. He squandered his life and left the rest of us hangin! Thanks Drocis for the heads up. I need to find a place to live that doesn't bother asking questions. I'll look into this place.

Well, I may as well plug the Illusive Passage whilst I'm at it. PvP enabled crossroad village (all paid for) ideal for guild members and guild 'friends'.

Who wants to live a slum anyway?

I would rather live in a slum than a place that asks too many questions. I don't like people up in my business. I'm a useful ally to have due to my my specific skill set. However I have a tendency to disappear for periods of time, and I don't want nobody asking questions.

Get it? No questions and we can be cool.
