    I think the devs would want to be in the office and monitoring before opening the floodgates on 12/12.

    Worse case scenario - they open the gates at 1am and by 1:15am a bug rears it's head and no one can get on. The 1,000 messages in the forums all say "you screwed us, keep your promises devs!" would not help things at all.

    So 8am would be a better time.

    I hope the linux/mac excuse doesn't become a standard thing. Where those of us backers with non windoes os's have to wait longer, I only backed because of the linux client and don't want to be treated like an after though. Fingers crossed for R2. Still disappointed about a windows only R1 though.
