    I was in Solonia when I spotted the new Round Tower, so I decided to have a look inside. I was just amazed at the ingenuity of some players. Because many of these buildings don't come with their own fireplaces, the owner of this tower decided to build her own. I definitely am going to build one of these now ;)

    Some screen shot of Opalis Ruins. I must admit, although the work on it was impressive, it just doesn't look or feel like the Opalis written about in Blade of the Avatar.
    It looks more like an Obsidian order fortress. Also, can't seem to understand why the three Titan statues and Oracle confirmatory are the only things in there that are still in
    a pristine condition and not in ruins? I also failed to find any artifact, books, etc. that would suggest that it was once a thriving city run by ordinary people.
    Also don't understand why the strange plants and floating shards, which would suggest a meteor impact, as one would find in the other shardfalls. Anyways, I'll stop hereo_O

    Because, like Desolis, this place was corrupted by the influence of the shards brought here. It was then abandoned. It was not destroyed by a meteoric impact so therefore not a shardfall.

    I was curious about it because a great deal of BOTA talked about Opalis (it was not originally a Obsidian city). As I haven't seen Tracy Hickmans other two books yet, I didn't know what the fate of the city was, other than that the Obsidian Order had conquered it.
    Somehow, I was hoping to find some remnants of what was once Opalis. But I still don't understand why the Obsidian order would leave the Titan statues intact. Still have many question going through my head about this zone.

    Appreciated the feedback :)

    That is likely what used to be the Novia Map Atlas. The devs had to make a change that forced that asset to look like that. Just deleted it, and after the next wipe you'll have your atlas back.
