I've noticed that sometimes the seeding and torrent stream can occasionally get borked, especially if the Internet connection hiccups for whatever reason. Usually, if you close out of the launcher, and let it restart normally, it should resume downloading.

I haven't seen actual firewall settings on their help page, but you can also set your firewall/router settings to allow forwarding for ports 6881-6999 per normal torrent settings.

I agree with this. That would be handy, versus alt-tabbing to escape it.

Thanks for the notes on R3, looking forward to it.

The game is looking great so far, really enjoyed the early testing for R3, though brief as they were, thank you. Now I hope that I will be able to get some sleep and rise early enough to be there at 10:30 tomorrow. Thanks again & keep up the Great Work!

Things are looking great! I am impressed with what this relatively small team has done thus far, and I am VERY excited to see things develop. R3 seems pretty stable, and is such a huge step towards our (developers and devoted fans) dream. R4 is only going to make this even more amazing in about a month. Thank you so much, Portalarium, for all of the long hours. We are quite grateful!

Wow. I kind of figured there'd be at least a few members of the team still rallying forth late tonight. We love you and the work you do!

    Salut,
    Thanks for this!

I'd like to add that Debian users can try both 32/64 bit version IF they've configured their system with "multiarch" (e.g i386 & amd64). Maybe on Ubuntu too.

Install the 64bit (amd64) version of Debian then follow the instructions from the howto. https://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch/HOWTO
BUT DON'T try to install the blob drivers from Nvidia, ATI(fglrx) or any 32bit only software before you've configured the multiarch support!!!!
Then you'll have the possibility of using 32bit software on a 64bit system.

Finaly, this could be tricky so if you haven't try Debian before DON'T do it. you'll probably lose your time.

    Have FUN!
    A+

Good news! Issues were fixed and everything should be good for tomorrow. We were just moving our servers over to full Gbps internet speeds instead of just 100Mbps, just in case!

Also, memory usage should be a bit better than in past builds. If you're on a 32 bit system or low memory system and are having instability I would suggest switching to "fastest" graphics mode which saves about 500mb of RAM.

Also, BurningToad and I just confirmed that pub audio should be synchronized to within a second or two for all who are in the pub. So if you're hearing a song, they are hearing the same song. This was a last minute thing I wanted to try and cram in to show some appreciation for the half dozen or so people who put together some incredible music. The idea being that people could discuss the music and know that you're discussing the same piece. For a future release we'll get in a "chat" tab that prints what music is playing at any given time.
