Is there a 64 bit version that can be installed? The installer did not give me any options for 32/64 bit. I would like to try the 64 bit version. Did they have to cancel that release at the last minute?

Yeah, I found it by accident:) Before you click LAUNCH GAME on the launcher, go for OPTIONS, to the right. Right at the bottom is the choice - use 64 bit build. It downloads the patch - I guess it is the 64 bit version.

I think I have only seen a couple of crashes on the 64 bit build so far in the logs.

I had one, but didn't log it. I find the log form to be very confusing and a bit intimidating.

    I had 3, emailed the files case# 9429

Two of those I was dbl clicking Handac, when all the video stopped, w/ music still playing.

Once I dbl clicked smelting table and same thing happened..

Other than those, it's been pretty stable...

I think all Mac builds are and always have been 64 bit! Doesn't mean it is stable though. We updated to the latest Unity version and Linux became more stable and Mac less stable! Tas is on the case and I have filed bugs for a few of the issues on mac.

The log file/report is horrendously confusing. I don't even try to understand it - I just send the log folder to my dropbox and post a link. I figure let the clever people work it out!:D

Your main issue seems to have something to do with not being able to load if the graphics settings aren't set to fastest. If you start messing with the shadows or graphics toggle in game then the next time you leave it will die at a low percentage of the load screen.

64 bit has been the easily the best addition in r7, for me.

If there were no concerns about supporting w7 32 bit, I'd say eliminate 32 bit altogether.

Thank you for your explanation Chris and for your statement regarding error fixing for the Mac. Good to know that the Mac Client isn't out of focus :)
