    Meanwhile (@ Lord Beli) , in the dark sewers, as the lady and two brave gentlemen felled two liches at once, Fireangel noticed that they smelled like Beli's jokes. hehehe

    After reading a comment by someone that the monsters were too hard to kill, I decided to test this out myself. Yes, they are much tougher, however, equipping my character with the best crafted sword and plate armor, they were much more manageable. The Liche, however, was incredibly tough, and it didn't seem possible to take it down with just one person. I found a way of doing it solo.

    First, in the Liche chamber ( located in the Liche lair with the skull stone entrance ), I tried to take him on, but he almost killed me on several attempts. If you go out the main door, the Liche won't follow you. I then decided to make my escape in the back entrance on the other side of chamber that leads up three flights of stairs. To my surprise, the Liche followed me up. I kept going until the Liche stopped and turned around. I then went back down to the point where he turned around and attacked him. He came after me but then stopped. There is a point where he will not retreat, yet can't attack you. From there, I kept hitting him until he died ( about 10 minutes ). So, it is possible to take him on alone.

    True true. That is how I took the Liche down in earlier releases.

    However, gaming the system in that manner does not really feel like a fitting approach on a go-forward basis. :)

    Very true and I'm certain that will be fixed in the next release. However, if this Liche was part of a quest for the story line, I think that not being able to take him down solo might be a problem.
    This is what went through my mind when I questioned the toughness of these creatures.

    I would agree.

    My expectation is that either NPC companions will take up the slack in the single-player campaign, or the toughness of the creatures will be scaled down if you are playing solo. :)

    I imagine there will be limits on how many items you can place on a single lot, just like there were in UO. :)

    You can use F9 and the /vanish command to accomplish pure screenshots.
