Release 9 Screenshot Gallery

It's that time again! We're looking for more GREAT screenshots for our website and Press Kit, and we were so impressed by the ones you've been taking, we want you to do it for R9. Here is what we're looking for:

• Action shots of course... it IS the Combat/PvP combat release, after all.
• Shots with more than one person
• Shots with a high coolness factor (amazing backgrounds, cool effect, that sort of thing)
• TIP: If you want a shot without names or your avatar then "n" toggles names on/off and "/visible" toggles your avatar on/off

Screenshots should be taken at the highest graphics settings. And remember to dress your avatar up nicely (pants included). Remember, we want these shots to look as amazing as Shroud of the Avatar does.

The lovely city of Ardoris (Linux Client). Unfortunately, it seemed to be a hazy day.

 

Books - Books - They were in this release and so was the city I have been waiting several releases for. Ardoris!

I took the boat from Kingsport with Miracle Dragon and upon debarking the boat, this was the first thing my eyes truly laid gaze upon. Yes it is true there were buildings and some walking to get to this point but none of it registered or locked to my eyes... *This* was my first true look at Ardoris and *This* is what made me fall in love with this city - Danieles @caravaggiosWolf (Dev) artwork come to life! Its beautiful! This site forever marked upon my minds memory ..



Coming back to my senses after the intense "awe" factor of seeing Ardoris - I continued my venture to find the books that were rumoured to be here in this remarkable city. My foot took a path that seemed to call to me....



.... Aye, the Eye!

After some more travelling and a little help from a few friends, namely Iazon who was looking for his book also. ~smiles~ We found it, in Ardoris, and I quickly grabbed it up, headed home to sunset rock and sat back beaming at the pages under the moonlight that fell open in my lap; bringing me back to a night in February, when these words fell forth from my quill to a kind sweet Britannian artist and started my career as a scribe.

P.S. : As Lord British decided to go into the first room of the Chaos Team somehow all focused on him and the other ones waited outside in the Arena wondering why no one was coming out.

 

Went hunting for artsy-style screenshots in Ardoris. Messed around with some PvP but wasn't able to get screenshots.

 

Today... blood shed and mayhem was *indeed* needed. Thank you to each and everyone of you for the dirt naps! =^.^=


Vengeance (and a few others) -- The Group before the battle.. i adore these guys and *they* are indeed family... they understand the need for blood, and the need for companionship!
(Yes i counted DarkStarr and Lord British in with that group that i adore )

Golem caught the comment and upon the breeze i heard it echo'd to my ears. Hmmm, as per my response to this question? -- "By my Liege Lord @Darkstarr i swear and keep my unwaivering fealty, even if it means my own death". (Missed the one where he said we needed to have a stroll and discuss this - recall the same being said in release 7? or was it 6? it was posted -- When would you like to have this discussion? my calendar is clear)

I am sorry amber, I did not want to battle you. Anyways I am glad we all had fun and it was a great experience. I am sure you will get revenge on me soon!

 

Oooh its *all* good. I realized after the tournament what my problem was ~laughs~ I had no reagents! .. will not be so lucky next time.

And dirt naps are all part of the fun, the person that can not handle their own death in PvP.. ought not to be on the field.! - as i said.. I stand on the side of Chaos, even in death

 

Wasn't there a Billy Idol song about this, "Eyes Without a Face?"

 

This release, me and Riya combined our experience to bring you Maze Arena on the PvP Island, more info in our thread Don't blame the maze - beat it in R9.
We also have a lot of help from others.


The maze/arena is located in Vengeance (Brave Coast), at the top of the highest mountain!


If you look careflly, you will notice that it is R9 structure.


Arianna is taking pictures for us, she mnade really cool video!


If you think that there should be more chairs for the viewers, maybe you should petition devs to increase the item limit

It is cool, right? Also you can see our names, while we sit i nthe VIP area. The view is perfect!

It is not MAZE. It is MAZE ARENA. If only I could zoom the camera further, you would be able to see that.


The last picture is not from the maze building. I know, I know, my grammar is not the best We just closely won the match and guess who had the most kills? No it was not BurningToad

 

Was there always so many birds in PaxLair?

 

It would have been a tie game if my heal on myself while on fire hadn't fizzled in the last 5 seconds of the match!

Picked up a house, last row house on the right. Made it stucco to stand out a bit more. Now to furnish it...
