    Hey all - I'm an original backer (Royal Founder, Lord). But I'd ignored every single email until I saw final wipe coming, and so I logged in with fresh eyes to check things out and plan out my land claims.

    I played the ever-loving-hell out of UO back in the pre-patch (PvP everywhere) world. I had rares, huge land, vendors, multiple 7x GMs, and a bunch of awesome friends.

    I'm sure some people who have been coming in to SotA all along are jaded, but to me, holy bloody bowl.

    SotA is way more polished than I figured it would be. So vast. So deep. So much I still don't understand. Just what I wanted. Yeah, there are a few things that I'm grouchy about (overland map, no wildlands homes, and ranged combat... I'm looking at you) but they're minor complaints against an overwhelming feeling of "wow!"

    Bra-freakin-vo to the team for pulling this off. I cannot wait to start leveling, meeting some new friends, opening a shop, and dropping down my sweet, sweet town home. But where? Off to research.

    Putting my money where my mouth is -- I upped to a Royal Founder, Lord Marshal just today.

    Man, I wish I'd logged in for some of the cool goodies over the last 31 releases, but I'm also pretty happy I didn't. You have no idea how great this looks from a new player's perspective.

    I'm a Royal Lord Marshal and I can say that the perks are just wonderful! I just picked up 2 of the new Viking POT Village Tax Free Lot bundles and am over joyed with our SOTA's progress!
    I chose to have a few more tax free lots that way, so I could spread them all over the map in different economic zones that will some day begin effecting us all.

    I have to agree, I finally signed up several weeks ago after reading some incredibly negative reviews that had me putting off contributing. I am so glad I did though, the game is a lot of fun, and I am not so patiently waiting for R32 to happen.
