... or otherwise simplify this. The 2 step process to pay taxes confused new and old players and seems to be unnecessary.

i think it's necessary because you can pay with either gold or crowns. if no one pays with crowns, though, it might be okay to remove that function?

    Looking in that

EDIT: Yeah we can add credits with crown or gold while paying directly is just with gold. Crown price also seem to be "somewhat" reflecting current player prices.

it would be cool if the COTO value in here updated automatically based on what the already tracked COTO to gold value is - AFAIK that data comes from trades and vendors and such and is already tracked based on what Chris has mentioned on streams

    Or just rename the options:
[ ] Pay lot taxes with gold
    [ ] Add COTO credit

Sorry I just don't see it as that confusing. But honestly don't care but seems like a waste of dev time.

I know it has caused confusion for players that were evicted from a POT and had credit and thought it would get applied to a new plot they claimed automatically.
But how often does that happen?

Personally, I would rather see a system that would automatically draw from one;'s tax reserves to pay the rent on a lot before it gets sent to the bank. Of course, if you're not using the reserve.....(shrugs). Taxes never get applied automatically to a different lot and would love to see where that is even suggested. I have all my houses on my accounts at 194 days and each account's tax reserve is pretty good. (800k - 1 mil)
