    There has also been talk of Players being able to create treasure hunting sites (by the community, not the Dev's per say). Id really like to see a full system for things like this.

    Multiple ways to find them in game. For sale by NPC's. Creatable by players. Even false maps and forgeries!

    I could almost see this as being something that may even need a stretch goal or something for a future update. A LOT can be done with this sort of thing.

    My concern with players creating treasure hunting sites is that it in turn could be an exploit to gather up players for a player killing trap.

    Then again, some might just see that as emergent gameplay.

    We love the basic concept of player driven treasure hunting. Not likely for the initial release but as we develop the system for treasure hunting we will examine how to expose these features such that it is player driver. Many details to be ironed out but that will be the development philosophy of many features. Work on an implementation for the initial episode and then discover ways to extend it to be player driven for later release.
