This problem is back again. I lost some health today that I could not get back until leaving the scene.

 

Experienced the same thing in Elysium Mines. Healing Touch casts, but no hit points gained. Stuck at 277 Health until I exited.

Edit: It's all over the place as far as the amount of missing health. In Blackblade Foothills Mine, and I'm at 363 of 364 Health. So far I've notice this bug in just Mines. Elysium, Blackblade, and Crag.

Confirming report. This seems to fix on relog but then recurs.

 

We have confirmed that this is an issue that players are experiencing, but are still working to uncover a solid reproduction case to examine closer internally.

If any of you are confident in your ability to reproduce this problem, and have any information that might allow us to reproduce it better, please let us know. So far attempts to manage health while in combat and using ring of brittle brawn, inner strength, shield of crystal, and strength of earth have failed to get reproduction results. We suspect there's some secret sauce we're missing.

I noticed this happening five or six times today randomly as I was running Shield of Crystal, Strength of Earth, sometimes Inner Strength, and sometimes Torpor. Not Brittle Brawn.

Update: Just happened while running Strength of Earth and Enlightenment only. Shield of Crystal and Torpor were NOT active. It happened while I was skinning a bear with partially recovering health (no healing skills running).

Update: Persisted into Build 699 same as above. Strength of Earth and Enlightenment only buffs running, happened as health was recovering during skinning.

 

FYI to those experiencing this issue, it can be fixed without leaving the zone. Just log out to the main menu and resume quickly. You at least won't lose your place.

@Attenwood It could be that this will only occur after a certain amount of time in a zone. It doesn't normally seem to start happening for me until I've been farming in the same zone for at least 20-30 mins. If it's the same with all these other cases, then time spent in the same zone might even be the only thing connecting them. I've had this issue happen without using any buffs. It just seems to happen eventually no matter what I do, provided that I stay in the same zone and keep being damaged/regenerating hp.

It's worth noting that after it happens once, it seems to just keep getting worse from there at a much quicker rate.

 

I think I found the interrelation. If i dont use Tap Soul, hp is stable

 

Is everyone else in this thread using tap soul?

I've used it some (more than 20 minutes) coincidentally over the weekend and didn't notice an issue with my HP getting stuck.
We'll keep an eye open for any 100% reproduction reports that are submitted. Thank you all.

 

I've noticed it and I don't use tap soul. Was standing around training passive and berserk stances.

 

I've experienced this (as recently as last night on live Build 705) - and I don't use Tap Soul.

Was in Elysium Mines

- no Tap Soul
- no Brittle Brawn

- getting damaged by mobs and using Healing Touch
- summoned water elemental healing me
- using Strength of Earth / Inner Strength
- used Courage devotional (strength buff)

- Sun Worship also modifying strength (and health) over time as the day/night cycle changes

 

I experience this as well and when it starts, it gets worse. I'm not using tap soul but am using strength of earth and inner strength. A party member told me that it appeared as if i was at maximum health to him. To me, however, it looked as if i was down about 200 hp and began taking damage at that reduced level during combat.

This has occurred in Ulfheim and Deep Ravenswood on a consistent basis.

 

This also happened to me yesterday - I am pretty sure it is Sun Worship turning off and on at dusk and late night.

Also in Elysium, but when I change scenes it does fix itself.

 

Sun worship is definitely the #1 candidate for this problem. Explains everything perfectly. HP recovering during the toggle for sun worship, and for some reason the amount of unrecoverble HP increases from there on until rezoning or relogging.

 

Yes, noticed today that the hp bug started at dawn (in game) for me today.. so sun worship may be the culprit

 

Just to add my 2 cents to the mix here. I get it all the time but only when I stack the following buffs: Inner Strength, Strength of Earth, Shield of Crystal and Celestial Blessings. Unfortunately it happens every time I stack them and I need to exit the scene to fix.

 

This happend after a single run through the mage room in The Rise.



I am using Strength of Earth, Inner Strength and Berserkers Stance. It is related to to this stregth buffs in combination with healings WHEN the strength buffs are running out.
Now with only 2/3 of my health points left i think i will leave The Rise and play with bears in Twins Foothills.
