A moon (or a sun in the second one, not sure). XD If you dont like the concept you can say it!
As for raising a leg...how do you mean? Do you just mean one leg of the ground, bent at the knee, like it's walking, or something else?
No, the concept looks great, I am just trying to get an idea what you want so I can help you get there.
Either a moon or a sun is very doable, they could even be stylized a bit. Let me know which you prefer and where and I will draw it up again.
Well, I was thinkign in this:
To put there the scythe... But maybe we dont need that. The simple style that I used in those "fake models" is not bad. A purple llama with yellow ayes looking (and smiling) to the moon in a red floor is very evocative.
When I was doing the background I had the sensation that I was inspired in something that I didnt now. After (just now, lol) I remember the Hanafuda, a classical card game that I used to play in Korea with a very interesting stetic.
(And thats why I also made the second background with the red sky)
Passant instead of Statant.
I tend to prefer very simple designs. The idea of heraldry was to make you identifiable at long distances, so the simpler the design, the better it can do that. I will work up some alternates for you to gaze at with your ideas incorporated.
You smart Rufus. XD But maybe we can forget about ir. What you think?
So maybe the best was the left shield. I tried to make a very simple concept with the first llama over a pile of bones that I did, just with the floor and the moon. Also have here some point, since I normally use the last name "Moonstone". And the red floor can be the night... or the blood of the energy llama enemies.
Here are some ideas for field divisions. There is no division like the one you drew, but there are two kind of close...but I think they take away from the original, and actually make the llama a bit harder to make out. Here are the two field divisions that can be done, in sable and gules (black and red).
If you want, you can see for yourself how the builder works and try it out here...
And here is one for you that just cracked me up. I include this only for the comic value.
Remember though, the Moon in New Britannia is shattered...so you theoretically could have a normal moon, it would instantly mark you as an outlander.
Can we use a curved floor like the Aevans shield? And no white circle? Call it Will-o-the-wisp.
You totally could have a white circle, it just wouldn't look like "the moon" to New Britannians.
And no, no curved floor...check out the builder that I linked to see what is possible.
Something like this?
The circle is perfect! I think that in a position similar to the first shield (then the llama must be a little smaller). Im so sorry, because I dont know if the builder will able to do all this... The meaning is not important, since was not the real moon, just some "dark influence" or even a soul.
The shield that I saw was this one:
Im trying to check the builder to make you this more easy, but all I can do now is to put a white circle over a purple rectangle in a black shield....
I did the curve! Field: per fess, enarched, sable, gules.
Ahh, gotcha...here it comes.
