Request: "Nicknames" or "Notes" for Friends on your list

People have some creative names for their avatars. Sometimes you may not remember where you met them. Some might be friends of your's in real life, but unless you interact with everyone constantly, it might be hard to remember who everyone is when they begin to stack up.

Steam has this awesome feature that allows you to add a Nickname to accounts on your friend's list. It appears next to their display name in parenthesis. This is very useful, especially when someone changes their display name constantly.

In SotA, I believe your friends are currently account-bound. If that is true, for those that have multiple characters, you'd only ever have to friend one of them. The avatar's name would change on your list, but we'd see the nickname we gave them to know that it is the same account.

Just a thought. Now I'm going to go back to cleaning out my friends list of people that I'm not sure I know anymore...

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! This topic comes up again and again. Aside from the problem of forgetting who people are , people on my friends list keep changing their in-game names. One day they're Insipid Sweetie* and the next they're Potent Pineapple*. So I'd like the note to stick even with a name change.

I do like this feature, though its certainly something we could all dedicate our handy dandy SoTA IRL Notebooks to. You do take notes, dont you?

Notes you jot down don't help if there are name changes, because you don't know it's the same person
