Title: Can not rename Conversationalist

Details: I can't rename conversationalist's.
I don't get the rename option when i right click the conversationalist. Confirmed from other player they do see the rename option.

@Scooby Doo, you cannot do it in inventory, only when placed. it looks like it did not properly spawn when placed. i've seen this with a few random pets recently: try leaving it on the ground and resetting the scene.

 

Hi @Alley Oop , i've been trying for a few weeks now, the male conversationalist was placed on a lot for about a week before i even knew you could put a name on them. since then i have confirm with other players that they can rename theirs, but since they are heritage marked i can't trade to them to rename for me.
yesterday i purchased a female version to confirm it wasn't the male version but still had the problem.

@Scooby Doo, if you've been trying for a few weeks and have never seen the conversationalist fully spawn, with a nameplate and the full menu, then it sounds like the account you're playing on is not the account of the lot owner. lot npcs ONLY activate when the owner of the lot they're on is in the scene; others with lot permissions don't count. conversationalists CAN have their conversation used when they're not fully spawned, but the nameplate is a quick thing to check. if this is the case, rename her on a lot the char you're playing owns and then move her to the lot you want or play as the owner of that lot if it's your alt.

I have tested again today, moved the conversationalist to my main house, recalled out of zone, restarted client, went back home, still no name and i don't get the rename option when clicked.

I went into my dungeon, did some deco, came out and saw he now had a name.
Now i can right click and rename him.
