[Resolved] Player Nameplate Missing

1. Player Nameplate Missing
2. Constant?
3. Not really
4. No nameplate (above my head showing my health). Have tried toggling this on and on in options with no noticeable result.
5. Notice nameplate is missing. Check if you have it toggled off, and you don't. Fiddle with toggle repeatedly and notice no change.

With the UI set to on, can you hit "N" on your keyboard and see if there is any difference?

 

Hi Lexie, I tried this. Other players nameplates show up fine, as do the monsters, but my own name above my head is not there regardless of toggle setting or repeated pressing of N. Pressing N makes the other players/monster nameplates appear/disappear as normal.

 

You need to set this in the options menu of your game client - I'm updating to QA right now, so I can't get you the exact option, but I believe it's called "Show player nameplate".

 

Yes....did this.
Toggled it on, toggled it off. Relogged. Toggled it on and off again. Couldn't seem to make my nameplate appear regardless of what I did, thus the report. Unless there's somewhere other than in options>interface "show player nameplate" that I should be looking.

 

Nope.. that's the one.. it seems to do the trick for me.. but I always keep mine off, personally.. doh.. maybe it is a bug then! Now the hard part of finding the 'secret sauce' to recreate it!

 

This appears to be resolved now in the latest QA patch.
