    Details:After getting the lucky nugget, when talking to the quest giver, giving his lucky nugget he closed the conversation and I lost the item.

    I'm confused. Are you saying that you successfully gave the lucky nugget to the old prospector but the quest didn't complete? And you still have the task to get the lucky nugget?

    The issue is related to a known bug that turn-in windows that unexpectedly closed would cause the quest item to apepar to go missing. Relogging fixes this.

    Just to confirm. When I wanted to give the quest item to the quest giver, the conversation window closed unexpected for some reason. The item got lost and I have to re-do the quest.

    But as Attenwood confirmed, if I relog the item should have been back in my inventory. Although I did not know this would have fixed it. I just went back to get the lucky nugget again and gave it to the old prospector again to complete the quest.
    So lesson learned for me today, try a relog first :)

    The bug itself should be fixed that made the item disappear in the first place.
