[Responded] Banner of Truth - who gives this reward? (Spoilers)

Details: I was able to get the Banner of Love from Solace Bridge Outskirts.

I should be able to get the same from Blood River Outskirts.

I have talked to Alberic and Capt. Bearfield and they do not respond to the keywords Banner of Virtue or Banner of Truth.

Steps to Reproduce: Ask about the Banner of Truth to get this reward if you have already completed the quest.

Not implemented in the Blood River Outskirts scene as of Build 554.

 

@Puuk , does Phineas have the Banner? I have already completed the quest by giving the warrant to Phineas.

Please allow option to receive this same as SB Outskirts, thanks.

Tried Phineas and no banner there either (build 559).

I really hope it's not Alberic. I poisoned the elf food supply and now the only thing Alberic wants to do is fight me.

@Lexie, @Puuk, because it is hidden in a thread, I thought it made sense to tag Lexie and Puuk so they in fact see this as a bug and not feedback.

 

Alberic should have the banner in the Live release, today. Even if you poisoned the elves' food supply (shame on you, btw), but you gave Alberic the vigilante manifesto at some point, you can click on the keyword "manifesto" in Alberic's dialogue and get the banner. One per customer, though. I will probably put a banner reward option on Phineas at some point, as well, for one of the upcoming patches.

 

Okay, I made an update to the Blood River Outskirts banner giveaways:

Blood River Outskirts - Added a Banner of Truth keyword/convo to Alberic's dialogue for a more direct route for players to get the banner after they've turned in the vigilante manifesto to Alberic. For those that did Phineas' bidding and poisoned the elves' food supply, Phineas now has a Banner of Truth keyword/convo that will award the Banner of Truth to players.

Should be in the next patch.

 

@Puuk, thanks for the info. At least we know who should have the banner and how we can get it.

BTW I like killing Alberic, he's such a wimp. Those elves can't stand up to to the fire power of Phineas and the brothers. Long live the vigilantes.

(and yet, i'm still getting a warrant turn-in dialog box from phineas, which i've already done, that won't take the warrant i have (which doesn't say copy) and won't cancel...)

 

Can you destroy it? Don't need it anymore. It's left over from release 44 testing.

 

nope. only right click option is use item, which opens it for reading.

 

Sorry Alley, there's nothing I can do at this point. Might be able to get someone in CS to delete it for you. Maybe @Lexie or @Attenwood.

This is not a fix that will be able to be done automatically with a client patch. We will be introducing an option in the near future to reset quests and quest items, but that will remove everything. If it is serious enough, feel free to reach out to support@portalarium.com to request direct assistance in having a dev remove the item from your inventory.
