    Unfortunately the only other option would be not to allow bulletin board flyers to be pinned on gates whatsoever.
    A similar thing happens to the bar. If you flip open the portion so you can walk behind the bar, any items placed on that counter will be hovering. There isn't a way to make it so you cannot place items on the intractable portion, the part of the bar top that flips up. It either all allows deco placement or it doesn't. I hope that makes sense.

    it also happens with open doors of cabinets, Wardrobes etc, u can place items on the inside of the open doors and they stay at the same place when the door is closed ;D

    Floating Weapons is fun :p
