[Responded] Craft GM - does distance matter in party?

Lace holds a GM crafting session once a month. I am working on Cooking which Lace has GM in.
Previous sessions, my Apprentice thing shows Cooking benefit, however it does not now.
Does the distance affect the GM benefit? We are in the two story craft center, and Lace is downstairs.
Have tried leaving party and re-invite, and re-logging.

I do recall that distance was a part of it. Sort of similar to earning xp as a group: if a member is too far away from the mobs they won't get any of the credit.
Now there may still possibly be a bug at play here. If she got close to you, would it work then? I know you have to be somewhat close, but I don't know if floors would/should get in the way. Was she under you or on the opposite side?
There was a bug where in some conditions apprentice wouldn't work until one person re-logged, but you guys tried that. So I don't think it is that.
And there was another bug submitted recently where someone reportedly didn't get the apprentice bonus until they hit the next level. That is being looked into, just as an FYI.
