[Responded] Game stops responding at 98% when loading into scenes intermittently

    4/30/2018 11:35 PM Title: Game stops responding at 98% when loading into scenes intermittently

    Reproduction Rate: 90% (for Rifts End)

    Blocker? Yes

    Details: Started having an issue getting into Rift's End tonight (after Build 770). Have tried to restart client, and rebooted computer. No change. Can get into other scenes in the area.

    Steps to Reproduce: When this started Rift's End was under Siege. got to 98% then client stops responding allowed extended period of time to recover, but no change.

    Got into Rifts End once when re-starting the client.

    I confirmed same bug issue when teleporting/entering town like soltown, oracle Oasis... the loading stop at 98%.. I manage to start on map and enter Soltown but crashing again when entering Oracle Oasis (Always stuck at 98% loading)

    Hi guys, i am also seeing this issue in Serenite. However, not all towns having this issue.

    Yes, same issue with trying to get in Rift's End - got stuck at 98%, had to restart to enter the town.

    @Lexie I tried your response, it didn't work.

    I cannot get into Rift's End. My house and main bank are there.

    So. I've tried switching off and rebooting.

    I have fiddled with my graphic settings, I have tried different versions - private/full world.

    I have tried recall scrolls ( I once got to my house - crashed immediately)

    I have tried teleport scrolls to friends inside Rift's End.

    I'm giving up now.

    So much for double XP week.

    New.

    I finally managed to get to my house. Then I used the signpost system to go to the main dock to buff up.

    The game hanged again.


    Edit: And I can't get back into the game at my house again.

    If you want to check my login and out today since I posted above at 9am UK time, every log out was a crash.

    They need to get one this ASAP. I have bank items in a town I can't access ATM putting a hurt on my bank capacity.

    I've tried all the recommended fixes also to no avail.

    This all began last night (UK time) just before I logged off. Was pretty much back and forwards to my house with no problem prior to that.

    It started Monday for me trying to get into a town I drop loot off in before heading to my main town hub and crash every time.

    I think they should extend the dbl XP a bit longer, some people can't enjoy the game right now.

    Also happened with Port Phoenix, which I use to get to Diamond Fields.
    So far, when I do get stuck, I turn the game off with Task Manager - it says the game is not responding.
    Then I restart and I am able to get into towns normally.

    I just looked at today's patch notes, I didn't see this issue in the "known" issue section.

    Does anyone have an ETA on the repair?

    I still cannot reach my home town.

    Update:

    I am in Rift's End now - for however long that lasts!

    I tried my alt account - everything worked fine - then logged out and back in on my main account and it appears to be working.

    I am in the lowest possible graphical setting - after having 'beautiful' for two years - and I'm scared to change back in case it all happens again.

    Weird.

    Hello,

    i just noticed a problem while having the same issue. Once i used higherquality of shaddows my game started to freeze and at lower level i often get these "stuck at 98-99%" crashes. Try to set you shaddows to none, for me it worked
