    Today's patch fixed some more of this issue but another thing causes it.

    Title: Mouse mode turns off when going into combat mode
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No, but super annoying :)
    Details: If in mouse mode and you click Z you'll find yourself knocked out of mouse mode.
    Steps to Reproduce: Be in mouse mode and click Z
    User Specs:

    This is still not fixed, though I thank you for fixing the 2 dozen other ways I can get knocked into cursor mode. This is probably the one bug (other than client crashing) that keeps from enjoying the game at all. This is kind of a big deal. Please guys, fix the cursor mode and all its manifestations. Release 65 is becoming a terrible gaming experience.

    Increasing the base "Blades Combat" skill still brings up mouse cursor.

    I mention this because one of the patch notes says "Increasing a skill will no longer cause the cursor to show when in reticle mode."

    :mad: Patch 968 brought back the fizzle mouse-look to cursor bug, and did not fix the unsheathe weapon and deck swap mouse-look to cursor bug... Grrrrrrrrrr!

    Fixes were applied to this issue (for build #970). Fixes were made before some of these posts. Please repost if you are still seeing issues with cursor modes in build #970 or later.

    @Lord Subtleton Thanks so much! I have noticed one other thing, when I press ESC to bring up the Options menu it being up cursor mode, that part is normal, but sometimes the mouse freezes in the middle of the screen and I can't move it. Have to press ESC to get out of options and then press TAB to get out of cursor mode and then press ESC again to get into options.

    Also, whenever some chats in chat it puts me into cursor mode.

    Still going into cursor mode when gaining a level in "Blades Combat" as well as fizzling a spell (Fireflies) during combat.

    Which key do you have assigned to Toggle Cursor Mode? The default is none.

    I was having similar problems, but they went away when I reset all my keybindings to default. I noticed that Tab is the default for Next Target. Maybe that has something to do it.

    Any notification (chat message, queue of loot units and others) throws out the cursor mode

    I play in reticle mode but when they fixed the issue with looting in reticle mode and the cursor staying active it had unintended consequences.

    When ever I am in a party in reticle mode and anyone loots a corpse my cursor comes up.

    Left Ctrl + Z is the (Alt) program default Sheath/Unsheath Weapon keybinding. This must have something to do with the problem.
