Title: Leather from Scraps recipe still 100% useless

The recipe was useless before, when we had to pay 12 scraps, to process 1 less hide into a leather
This release the scraps recipes have been adjusted a bit, but it is still a recipe that makes no sense. Now we pay 6 scraps, to process 1 less hide into a leather!

R45 QA Leather recipe: 2 Animal Hides + 1 Curing Salt = 2 Leather
R45 QA Leather from Scraps: 1 Animal Hide + 1 Curing Salt + 6 Leather Scraps = 1 Leather
Basically this means the scraps recipe is 1/2 a Curing Salt and 6 Leather Scraps more expensive to get the same result (1 Leather).

I think it would make sense, if the Scraps recipe would also produce 2 Leather. Then it would actually save something and everybody would start recycling

Aye, the leather scrap situation has been a longstanding debate. With the new changes, it was surely going to come up again. It's understandable.
Since these changes were made by the designer, I cannot treat this as a bug. Please be sure to post in the feedback section. I'm only trying to grab bugs and I want to make sure your post gets the right visibility

 

Yes, this is true. I gave up on this issue about 10 releases ago.
