[Responded] QUEST ITEMS THREAD

The problem is that the moment the Oracle sees you with a relic and no "fuel" for it (which now is always, because the relics are quest items and can't be hidden in the bank!), she forces one on you every time you talk to her, without even being asked first.

So, destroy relic "fuel", talk to oracle, then "hey you don't have one of these yet, take this it's dangerous".

 

there's a related issue: quest items that are also flagged as deco and hence show on the housing tab even though they're unplaceable:

diplomatic note for korabar (which i shouldn't still have anyway)
royal norgard writ of passage (which i shouldn't still have anyway)
shroud of the avatar
vigilante gate key (blood river outskirts)

i have a copy of the warrant that may be similar: in talking to puuk, it may be a defunct version. it's not tradeable/destroyable but also not flagged as a quest item.

and a +1 on the ghostly echo essence.

There's a hermit who lives in a tent to the left of the elf encampment (if you're standing in front of and facing the elf encampment). He's the one who will create the bogman club for you.

By design.

 

It doesn't work that way. You can only get each relic reagent once from the Oracle, whether or not you destroy it.

 

Lum, I have 2 sets of coconuts (2 each, left and right) on one of my accounts. Back in the day, these were tradable at one point and I somehow ended up with an extra set on this account.

Any chance these can be set to destroyable? Normally, I wouldn't care much but when they are forced into your inventory and you go to equip them... with 2 sets you need to take extra time to make sure you pick 1 left and 1 right and not 2 of either type (or else you won't equip a full set and not get the "mount" speed buff).

 

any chance you can out them on a public vendor like the indestructible hoes?

I have a Blood River Outskirts Elven Heirloom that is not tagged as a quest item-- white text in with the rest of the items which can be equipped. I have a Solace Bridge Outskirts Elven Heirloom which is tagged as a quest item-- yellow text in the list between the items which can be equipped and tools.

I have a Highvale Outskirts quest item that will not allow me to destroy it. It is the Bogman Arm. I already have one arm that was converted into a weapon and ran into the Bogman a second time. I killed it and got another arm. Of course I could not have that one converted due to me already having one converted. So I tried to delete it and get it off my inventory. But cannot. Can you make any duplicates that are non usable a item one we can destroy?

Issue #1:
The following items are not flagged as quest items, and I think they probably should be:

1. "Royal Warrant" that is to be delivered to Ferig
2. Diplomatic Note for Korabar (this changes to a quest item only after you give it to the kobold at the initial gate in Caverns of Skrekk)

Title: Some quest items only appear in sub-tabs in your inventory window, and they do not appear in "All items" tab in the inventory window (see pic 1) or the Quest item trade window (see pic 2) - so when asked for item, initially i could not find it.

Details: See example below. Some items appear in the sub-tabs (such as housing) but not in the all items tab or in trade quest items window. All quest item should appear in the "all items" tab and in the trade window.

• The courageous mother
• Knight Cyannis' report
• Miles Shephard's final report (not sure if this is the exact name)
• Royal Norgard writ of passage

I think the passage keys are being labeled as quest items incorrectly.

They normally drop as loot off a mob in places like Kiln Cistern, Serpent's Spine Mines, Graff Mines, etc.

See picture below of some of them in inventory.
