Resurrect Creature Question

Since the change came in that you target yourself to Resurrect Creature I can no longer Resurrect players. Was resurrecting players never intended for Resurrect Creature or did the new changes break this feature?

I hope this is a bug and not an intended change. I cannot put points into taming and expect to also have them in Life with taming pets being a support type of role. Plus any offense for myself.

I also experienced this a few days ago.

 

I don't think resurrect creature was ever intended to be used on players.

 

Not sure but I would like to see an official answer so I can decide what to do going forward in regarding ressurect. @Chris

 

I'm more curious why it can be cast without an actual dead pet. Makes it easy to train but doesn't seem proper.

 

I always took it as a creature is avatar/outlndernor animal based on how it is written.

 

It was intended to be used on players. It said, that resurrecting players is possible, but with a lesser chance.
I really would also like to know, if the change is intended or if it is a bug. @Chris

Honestly, if it is intended to use on both, I'd rather have a passive Taming ability to increase the healing done by Life spells when used on tamed creatures, instead of having duplicate abilities. Why waste skill experience twice?
