Rufus' Inn Decoration Challenge

Greeting Avatars, or at least those of the Deco Persuasion;

I've recently added 6 Wood and Plaster Inns to Dawn's Keep... The rooms of these will be 'rented' (for 0 gold a month) to any that need a place to call their own, but cannot, or cannot yet afford a lot of their own.

I suck at interior deco.
I've 6 inns that need deco.
I would like to enlist the help of 6 different decorators to each choose an inn and decorate it for me.

Interior:
The common room and the hallways only. The common room should be decorated as common living/entertainment space for the tenants. The theme is up to the decorator. The individual rooms will be the purview of the tenants.
(The room on the ground floor with the 2 doors is excluded. The closet under the stairs can be included, but that is where I plan to put the Basement Hatch)

The Budget for the Main Room and Hallways will be: 80 Objects, 2 Containers, 8 Lights. The hallways and stairwells are already lit. It may seem like a small budget, but necessarily as to leave deco budget for the tenants.

Exterior:
I would like there to be a Merchant Station on the porch of each Inn (I'll supply the merchant). As there is very little land, there should be very few constraints.

The budget for the exterior work will be 400 Objects, 18 containers, and 4 Lights (THERE. ARE. FOUR. LIGHTS!)
(I do NOT expect that whole budget to be used to essentially deco the front porch!)

• 2nd from the Southern Gate - Weapons: Claimed by Rowell. COMPLETE
• 3rd from the Southern Gate - Reagents and Potions: Claimed by Pebbles.
• 3rd from the Northern Gate - Crafting Materials (Ore, Hides, Ingots, Cloth and the like): Claimed by Rudyard. COMPLETE
• 2nd from the Northern Gate - Prepared Foods: Claimed by Ameresta Trillion. COMPLETE
• Closest to the Northern Gate - Meat and Vegetables: Claimed by Keepsake. COMPLETE

I tend to lean toward the conservative, so outlandish schemes may be pushing my limits... but I've surprised myself before.

a limit of 400 objects on that tiny little bit of left over land? Really?

 

That's what the game allows for the exterior decoration of a village lot.

400 items though seem like overkill though. You could build a whole nother entrance with player crafted blocks. Just seems crazy is all

 

I agree... In this instance an inn takes up almost the entire lot. There is no requirement in the challenge that the entire budget be used.

Here's some screen-shots of my inn (maybe for ideas). I've decorated it with only items that can be crafted or obtained in-game without the use of cotos or real money.

There's supposed to be a large fountain in the ring of pavers but it won't go because my lot is not flat.

 

Two Inns have been claimed.

The Closest to the Southern Gate will be decorated by @Adam Crow, and be set up for an Armor Merchant.
The 3rd from the Southern Gate will be decorated by @Pebbles, and be set up for a Reagents and Potions Merchant.

 

Still looking for interested decorators.

 

@keepsake this is something you might enjoy. To @Rufus D`Asperdi I highly recommend Cambria / Keepsake. She decorated my city lot and two town lots.
