Runes / Runebooks for Recall?

    Any thoughts around expanding the use of recall or teleport? Perhaps make the runes/runebooks of significant complexity and cost to prevent a flood of mass recalling?

    I am pretty sure they have said this will not be coming to the game. Besides, everyone uses their (F)riends list and teleport scrolls to act as a rune book.

    I would love a rune book, if only to whittle down my friends list, and I would love it to be something you have to work for (read: quests) that cannot be mass-produced like in UO. But that's really not in the cards, I am afraid.

    Yeah, I see the friends list is used in the manner. Personally, I don't really like recalling to a friends list of strangers who use me as a hosts file. IMO it feels more like abuse of the friends list system and a missed opportunity for immersion.
